Tara Whittaker is a marketing and communications professional based in Denver, CO.

Over the past decade, through full-time roles and consulting work, Tara has created content, designed websites, produced events, driven social media strategy, shaped brand architecture, and built online and offline communities for everything from small businesses to global brands.

She was most recently Digital Marketing and Public Relations Manager at The Connecting Link, overseeing brand identity, social media, and content strategy, website design, email campaigns, paid media, e-commerce sales, online/offline partnerships, influencers, events, and all brand campaign work. Prior to The Connecting Link, she spent 4 years in the public accounting, finance arena creating award-winning global social media and digital marketing strategies, also leading experiential marketing, brand marketing, and advertising. Before that, she shaped sales, digital communications, marketing, and events for Sharp Corporation, Hendrix Systems and Dr. Jeffrey F West DDS, PA.

Tara is a fan of CrossFit and good bourbon with equal enthusiasm, and when she's not behind a computer screen, you'll find her at the nearest mountain skiing down the slopes.
Tara has a B.S. in Communications from Appalachian State University.
